Welcome to ToneCanvas. By accessing or using our application and website (tonecanvas.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Use of the App
ToneCanvas provides a digital platform for exploring and creating guitar tone presets. You agree to use the application only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the platform. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the application's infrastructure or API.
2. Trademark & Intellectual Property Disclaimer
ToneCanvas is an independent tool created for musicians. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or associated by any guitar, amplifier, pedal, or music technology brands mentioned within the application (e.g., Blackstar, Boss, Marshall, Fender, Ibanez, etc.).
All product names, trademarks, and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners. They are used in this application solely for descriptive and reference purposes to help users identify the tonal characteristics of real-world equipment.
3. User-Generated Content (Presets)
You are solely responsible for any preset data you create or share via ToneCanvas. While presets are primarily stored locally on your device, sharing a preset generates a public link. ToneCanvas claims no ownership over your original tone settings, but by generating a share link, you grant us the technical permission to temporarily host and display that data to fulfill your sharing request.
4. Affiliate Disclosure
ToneCanvas may participate in affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a small commission if you purchase musical equipment through certain links provided within the app (such as the Tone-to-Gear feature). This comes at no additional cost to you and helps support the development of ToneCanvas.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")
ToneCanvas is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the app, the accuracy of the preset data, or the continuous availability of the service. We do not guarantee that the application will be bug-free or uninterrupted.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToneCanvas (and its developers/team) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of data, loss of equipment functionality, or any other damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the application.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to ToneCanvas shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Thailand.
